Our Journey
2004
Trade Concept was founded by Manish Sahijwani, who is still leading it.
2005
At that time the core activity of Trade Concept was business intermediation between China, India and the Czech Republic (as well Slovakia). While visiting an exhibition in Chicago, Manish saw a business opportunity in Anna water filters and jugs. We became their exclusive importer for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
2007
This year, we added Import Services to our portfolio. Some of our clients entrusted us with managing of their entire import process, allowing them to focus on their other core activities.
2008 & 2009
Our Import Services are now used by growing list of clients including networks of stores, travel agencies and big companies.
Year - 2010
The list of countries from which we import grows to include Thailand, Bangladesh, Pakistan and United Arab Emirates.
2011
We are still a small but power packed team in the Czech Republic that with its customer centric attitude and very competitive prices has won the trust of the clients.
2012
The routine has become a routine activity and so we start to design our own designs, brands and products that we could import and deliver to our existing and new clients.
2013
We launch our first brand Home Elements for household goods segment.
2015
The website moderninakup.cz has been operational for a long time where we sell only water jugs and filters. For the first time, we start investing time ad money in an eshop with wider range of products.
2016
We launched our second brand GiftyCity for promotional items, original gift articles and souvenirs from world cities / metropolises.
2017
Keeping up with our growth, we move into a larger office space with a representative showroom. We also launch the first products of our brand ARÔME that caters to the home fragrances segment. The range of products include candles, diffusers, Incense sticks, Scented waxes and Incense oil burners. We are constantly introducing new and innovative products
2018
Our team is now divided into three departments: Import, Graphics and e-shop. We take further steps to enrich our portfolio of services. Our design studios in the Czech Republic and India are now operational where with a magic wand we transform ideas of our clients into final products! We launch our much-awaited Wholesale system.
